In just a few days I will be on my way to Ireland for a nearly two week vacation. In preparation I have created a list of a few Ireland travel essentials. After visiting Ireland several times throughout my life, I know to be prepared for potential cold days and rain. A warm fleece is definitely an essential for this trip. Although we may have some humidity, the temperature can drop down to low 50’s ℉. Another nice thing to have is a light rain jacket to protect against the sea spray while on the ferry to the Aran Islands and visiting the coast. While on those short day trips a lightweight pack that will fit my jacket, sweater, scarf and other travel essentials is great. I have also come to love this flash pack, often taking it on day hikes and wearing it while biking to work. Versatile for dressing up and wearing walking around the town, straight leg jeans are my travel choice. Last time I went to Ireland I bought a hair straightener while I was there and plan to take that with me on this trip, but this time I plan to pick up a dual voltage hair dryer. While in China I carried a crossbody purse with me everyday, and I will be doing the same while in Ireland. And not just a travel necessity but for everyday use, a great foundation/concealer. I have found that this provides the best coverage and all-day wear, especially since it is mess free and compact. This weekend I will be doing some shopping for the rest of my travel necessities. What are some of your travel essentials?
