2013 Goals Update

Mt-davidson-san-francisco

Well here we are, it’s already 2014 and time to review my goals from the last year. I had hoped to accomplish most of my goals by my 25th birthday in November, but that time has already come and gone. I was able to cross off half the items on my list. However, there is no reason to be disappointed, because there have been a lot of changes since the beginning of the year. I got a promotion, graduated from college, took a big trip to Ireland, became engaged and have been trying to balance so many things. I accomplished all the “big” tasks on my goal list, and that is something to be proud of.

The most rewarding goals that I completed were visiting the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland, graduating from college and completing my first half marathon. During the first four months of 2013 I spent at least one day a month volunteering with organizations like the San Francisco Food Bank and One Brick. When springtime came around, Mike and I completed several hiking day trips to Alamere Falls, Big Basin, and Mt. Tamalpais. We even managed a few weekend getaways to Coachella Music Festival and a quick two day trip to New York City. I have continued my education by taking social media marketing courses and learning all I can on my own.  Of all the goals on my list, I would have liked to actually backpack the Pine Ridge Trail in Big Sur and become certified in First Aid/CPR/AED. I will just have to keep those in mind for 2014. As far as the new year goes, my goals for 2014 will be posted soon.

Did you accomplish all your goals from 2013?
